13 Weeks

I had a doctor's appointment tonight. I've decided to switch doctors and I think the new one (Dr. Tareq) is a better fit for me. He examined my belly and tried to hear the heartbeat. No luck, but he said he could hear the baby moving around in there, so I guess that's good! This week the baby is the size of a medium shrimp (?!) not really sure what that means...anyway, he or she has fingerprints, and is less top heavy as the body is catching up with the head. We have another appointment in 3 weeks for the "triple test". There won't be a posting next week because baby and I will be in Greece eating good food and breathing fresh air.
